Refraction :

Childhood myopia has become an increasingly worrying issue for parents and children. Rapidly increasing myopia is now common with increased screentime, lack of outdoor activities, poor diet and burden of studies.

We do a detailed evaluation of the spectacle number and check the retina in detail with our OPTOS imaging system.

In addition, the prescription of special drops and newer spectacle lens designs slows down the progress of myopia to make it a manageable disease. Counseling of the parents and child allows creation of better habits to treat myopia.

Contact lenses or Lasik are other options at an appropriate age of the child.

We also do accurate refraction and prescription of spectacle numbers for adults and senior citizens.
